Fare Well is an evening length dance by Jennifer Nugent and Paul Matteson. The initial sonic experiments involved cello samples which were treated and augmented and became the core of the instrumentation along with a randome note generation patch and samples from a horribly scratched Eric Satie recording.
Original score by Edmund Mooney, sets by Sue Rees, lighting by Garen Marshal and costumes by Naoko Nagata. The evocative duet was premiered at St Marks church in NYC in 2006 and has enjoyed re-mounts around the U.S. and abroad.
