Subterraneans is a soundscape collage in which field recordings of NYC subway and other transportation sounds are mixed together with copious effects. The reverb in one train recording takes on an eerie under water slowed down whale song effect which I love to this day. This excerpted version is from “Something Else” hosted by Phil Von Zweck on WLUW as part of the ASAE Convention, Chicago 2010.
